I see a lot of great posts about animation that I know I can’t appreciate.
I don’t know anything about traditional techniques. I don’t key, and I barely storyboard. I don’t know anything about colour wheels or colour theory. I don’t know anything about ‘the greats’ until I hit up wikipedia and most of the time I hardly know what I’m doing at all.
How I’ve gotten away with being an animator all this time is anyone’s guess.
EDIT: I don’t even know how to draw folds.
